T minus 15 days and counting.

Hello to all,

Well, as the title says, there are 15 days until Christmas. And the day is coming fast! I find it a bit surprising that kids still don't know what they want. The Claus really tries to push the kids to say something because the parents still need time to find the stuff.

The most popular stuff kids ask for are DSI, XBox, Barbie, dolls, laptops, and Maxi Girls (what ever they are).

As for today, we had 150 photos taken of Santa. Oh, and of course, the kids. We only had one dog, which was a Boston Terrier. She insisted on washing my face...and she did.

We had some fun kids come and see Santa today and one girl really sticks out. The Mall has a series of concerts during the Christmas season. One of the girls in the concert came with her family to get a picture with the "Talent" so when I heard she was in the choir tonight, I said she had to sing for her photo. Needless to say, the middle school-aged girl did not want to sing. So when she sat on my knee, I started to sing Jingle Bells. Well that started the giggles! and I saw the "little green light" to mess with her a little.

So it started with me singing, then I bounced her on my knee, I messed with the photo shot, and each time I get responses from at least one of the elves saying, "Santa, have you had too much milk and cookies!" All of this is for the entertainment of the kids, parents and...well...us. But back to the story. As I straighten up for the photo, I see elf Peggy slowly move toward the camera (not really strange as we are in close quarters). As the elf was ready to snap the photo, elf Peggy put her hand in front of the lens. As you can imagine, I just lost it as did the girl in my lap and everybody else. I wish I had it on video because it was priceless!

As I said, it was a good night.

And it's time for me to say good night,

Santa
