Oh, Give me a Break

Hey there,

Today we had 82 little darlings through Santa's Wonderland. We also had three dogs. One was a Black Lab mix, and the other two were pure breds. Santa was asked if he has a new total, so here it is. To date we've had 3213 photos taken. Last year we did not get to 3000 until Black Friday. Santa needs a raise!

I was asked by Mrs. Claus to take some pictures of my hotel room so she can see where I'm staying. I will take some on Tuesday and then post them in my blog.

Tasha, sit! Stay. Good girl. I'm putting this in because a beautiful dog came in today named Tasha, and so the jokes began. (And not by me.) I just joined in to be nice...lol

I have to admit that today there was nothing too special going on. Bass Pro was focused on gearing up for Thanksgiving at Fox & Friends. Elf Troy will be going up and cooking turkeys. I wish him well and hope he does not end up cooking a frozen bird. They have to be fresh, otherwise they will blow up in the deep fryer.

We did have one memorable incident. As you know, we give away one free picture. Sounds easy enough, but for some reason people have a hard time with that. We had this beautiful infant come in all nice in her dress. However, she would not stop crying when I had her, and then she would stop when mom picked her up (very normal). So the mom put the child back in my arms, and guess what? She freaked. Mom took her back again, and she would quit. Do you sense a pattern? Well this went on for awhile...like 5 times. Mom would not accept the fact that her all-dressed-up little girl would not mind and she wanted a picture with her perfect. An elf had a chat with her and she finally stopped. And yes, she had her one photo. And yes, the baby was crying.
